Print Story Being Drunk With Family
I'm not sure exactly when family get-togethers became an excuse to down a bottle of rye, but I'm certainly not against this new tradition.

I have produced new audio things for your enjoyment:

First a brighter re-EQing of Super Happy Motivated Rock Band's I Couldn't Sleep designed to draw attention to cam's virtuoso playing and arranging. That song is so deep in its simplicity.

Second an original track entitled We're Going To The Lake (featuring mns and his Office Dog).

An MLP for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Doujinshi is the when anime fans making their own comics (manga) using characters and situations from other anime. They're an obsessive artform made by obsessive fans who hone their technique drawing large-eyed Sailor Moon waifs. Most doujin sucks, sucks, sucks.

But not this one.

Print Story Moments with Cell Phone Girl
The girl at the Rogers Cell stand displayed a humble beauty. A round unassuming face, genetic stock of strong prairie farmers. Brown eyes and brown hair. I walked right up like I owned the place.

“My battery’s dying and you guys said I could get a free replacement under warranty.”

Here it is! (m4a file)

It really kind of sucks mostly because I don't know what I'm doing. Also, it seems it encoded in low quality and I don't know why because all I did was hit the "Export Podcast to iWeb" button and it did everything by itself, but evidently not the way I wanted it to do it.

The songs I picked are good, IMO. Hell, that's why I picked them.

Print Story Tom Green as Artist
Media
By 606 (Thu Jan 12, 2006 at 12:47:56 AM EST) (all tags)
There are few entertainers so polarizing as Tom Green, at least among those who know of him. Most consider him a base comedian, reviled as the progenitor of the reality TV comedy concept as embodied by Bam Margara and his friends in Jackass , Viva Le Bam, and other spinoffs released by MTV. It is true that Green had a part to play in unleashing these hellish bastard children of television into the world, but further analysis suggests that MTV had the concept down from the beginning and merely sought Green as a marketable spokesman for that type of comedy.

Tom Green himself, unleashed, is an artist.
