Haven't written a diary here in almost two years. Figured maybe I'd fill you in on my life. The summary:

2008: I live in Calgary. I work in the oilpatch. I own a car, furniture, and lots of shiny things.

2010: I live in Berlin. I work for a music software company. I rent a small apartment and own almost nothing.

I am happier.

Just a bit after noon I hear the doorbell ring its single ding (the dong never happens because the bolt that hits the bell gets stuck in gross goop built up from years of WD-40 sprays instead of proper repairs). Congratulations to Herring, the winner of lucky MFC 13, the Drugs MFC. In case you missed it, listen to Herring's Wondrous Ode to Ibuprofen. You know, I had my office christmas party last night, and this morning I really, really was able to understand how great ibuprofen is. We should all sing its praises.

Herring's prize is, of course, the opportunity to host the next MFC. The onus of the ongoing cycle of music, fun, and challenge is passed to him. Woo!

I honestly don't know how, and forgot to ask, how glamorgan found our table seeing as I forgot to send him a picture of myself or describe what to look for. It's logical that he found a picture of myself or misslake amongst the old husistock photos and worked from there, though my personal theory is he merely walked around until he found the table that reeked of The Internet.

I was going to do this earlier, but then I got high. bada dat dat dat dum... And thankfully nobody covered that particular song.
